Get to know Colten

This is Colten Smith! Colten grew up in the small town of Fielding, Utah. He is the oldest of 3 brothers. Growing up he enjoyed playing with fire, playing xbox, fireworks, mowing the lawn, hanging out with his best friend Justin, camping, hunting, golfing and anything else outdoors. During high school he worked as the grounds keeper for a local golf course, and he loved it. He graduated from Bear River High School and Seminary in 2010.



After high school he got a job at Wal-Mart DC as an order filler. He still is currently working there, and loves it (most days!! haha).  He drives a jack around a huge warehouse and stacks groceries on pallets that need to be shipped to Wal-Marts around the world. He always goes above and beyond what is required. He often gets recognized for being the "top dawg" which means he did more work in the time allotted than anyone else in the day. He enjoys racing with his co workers and making the work environment a fun place. I (Sharlee) am grateful for his hard work to support us.

Colten is the assistant to the Teachers Quorum in church. He loves being involved in scouting. Colten still loves doing anything outside. He has been making our yard look good, keeping up with the grass and watering. He absolutely LOVES fireworks and seems to collect them and loves to set them off. He loves to be with his dogs, working and training them for hunting. He enjoys clay pigeon shooting with his brothers and hunting with my dad. If he is not working or outside you can usually find him watching a series on Netflix or playing xbox. He has a love for movies, tv shows and music. He stays caught up with new movies, actors and when the newest album is coming out from his favorite band.

Colten is an all around kind hearted person. He is very quiet and reserved when you first meet him, but keeps you laughing once you know him. He is always cracking jokes and making people laugh with his crazy ideas. He always put others wants and needs first, making sure everybody (especially me) is satisfied before he is. He loves to help and whenever he is needed.

Colten is exited to be a dad and I know he will make a good one. Colten says, "I want to be a dad because I want a little sidekick!"
